Stop counting weekends as days between steps
planned
Shawn Ragell
Currently, weekends get counted as days between steps, even if the sending window is set to Monday-Friday. Lets say I send an email on a Friday, and the next step is an email if no reply in 3 days. Currently, PersistIQ will send that second email on Monday, despite my Mon-Fri sending window, when in reality, I want that email sent on the Wednesday (3 business days after Friday).
Days between steps should follow the sending window set up in the campaign.

We are going to budget adding this feature by the end of September! Any added thoughts before we plan it in our roadmap?

In other platform I noticed they added a checkbox "Business days only?" So you can leave it up to the user and it won't disrupt current customers.

The problem I see here is that the sequence is intended to be run on business days. We assume that a reply after 3 days means business days. IIt makes the outreach consistent and truly measurable to determine if the sequence configuration is actual generating replies.

What issues does the current sending window logic create? It would be super helpful to understand that in order for our team to see where it fits on the roadmap. Thanks!

Can you please explain why this feature is important to you? I'm worried it will disrupt the workflow for all of our users but I'm open to learning more!

Considering building this but...can one of you please explain what problems arise as a result of this issue? I'm worried it will disrupt the workflow for our entire user base. Thoughts?

Daniel Ahmadizadeh: Daniel the thing is you must understand how PIQ works to correctly calculate the days. First time I sent the 2nd and third emails on wrong days because I didn't know how the days were calculated.
